Free Ads Serving Software (aka AdBrite Clone, Adsense Clone, Clicksor Clone, or Kontera Clone)

Would you like to run your own advertisement network, like Adsense, Adbrite, Clicksor, etc? You can, actually. For many, the highest stumbling block will be the software platform for managing such advertisement networks. It will cost hundreds or thousands dollars to buy a decent script for managing ads-serving, and much more to build your own.

If you don’t mind make-do with whatever available functions and features, there are actually some good ads-serving software. Do check them out and see if it fits your need.

   Open source ad server you can host yourself and build your own custom features on top of.

   OpenX is actually ad script for your own websites. However the script is so powerful, I believe you can tweak it to serve ads network.
3. Adhere Mobile Ad Server

   Adhere Ad Server is a very powerful tool that specializes in serving ads for mobile advertising. Adhere is the first open-source ad server in the market.

   Adhere is initially built upon from OpenX for mobile advertising.
4. VertEasy Advertisement Tracking
   http://sourceforge.net/projects/verteasy/

   VertEasy is an advertisement tracking and management web application written in PHP. Companies who have clients for which they conduct advertising campaigns, can allows their clients member’s to register and place their adverts quickly and easily.

Lastly, I’d like to mention Php Lemon’s Adbrite Clone. Surely, it’s not free. But for just $249, it is supporting almost every type of advertisement you can run, e.g. text-link ads, full page ads, peel ads, inline ads, splash ads, etc.
